Voice Over WLAN: The Current State

Abstract:

VoWLAN technology is available and deployable today with acceptable cost/benefit tradeoff for those enterprises with strong in-building or on-campus needs for mobile voice communications. The evolution of the market will only make such implementations more valuable in the future. FMC, when broadly available, can use the already-deployed VoWLAN infrastructure to provide great in-building capability with little incremental investment, except for the handsets.
