| Robbie Forkish is president of Forkish Consulting, Inc. where he provides advisory and business planning services for networking companies and communications start-ups. Prior to founding Forkish Consulting he had been vice president, marketing and business development for Sentient Networks, Inc. which develops multi-service access switching solutions for carriers, CLECs and ISPs. Previously, Mr. Forkish was co-founder and vice president of Network Equipment Technologies (N.E.T.) where as Chief Technology Officer he led development of the company’s next-generation product architecture. He has also served as N.E.T. vice president of strategic marketing, where he was responsible for advanced planning and international market development. Mr. Forkish was also president of RFTC, Inc., an international market consulting firm specializing in strategic planning for carriers and vendors. He is a frequent industry speaker and author on subjects relating to ATM, frame relay, and IP networks; traffic management and QoS; and multi-service voice and data network architectures. | |
