- Featuring Devin Akin
- Aerohive Networks
The advances realized by 802.11n have caused many enterprises to reconsider the role of WLANs in their network, as well as the effect of such a deployment on their infrastructure. Before deploying 802.11n, however, organizations need to understand some of the basics about the technology. In this 6-part video series on 802.11n by Devin Akin, Chief Wi-Fi Architect at Aerohive, we provide an overview of the standard, introduce deployment considerations, present technical enhancements of 802.11n, and discuss the coexistence of 802.11n and 802.11a/b/g.

This could be titled "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About 802.11n But Were Afraid to Ask." Or even better, "Everything You NEED to Know About 802.11n But Didn't Know That You SHOULD Ask."
This is an excellent tutorial series, nicely segmented into segments of roughly ten minutes each. One of the really nice parts about this format is that you don't have to commit to watching the entire series at once. Further, since the segments get progressively more advanced, you may choose an appropriate starting point based on your prior knowledge.
Please note that we'll be monitoring the site for comments and questions that may arise as you work your way through the materials.
A true "Webtorial."
